Andreas Morschhauser received his diploma in Microsystems Technology from the University of Applied Science Zwickau, Germany, in 2006. From 2006 to 2011 he was working at the Center for Microtechnologies, TU Chemnitz, Germany on the implementation of novel materials into smart systems and specialized on microfluidic systems for diagnostic and analytic applications. In 2011 he took a position at the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS and is now group leader for the Fluidic Integration and Systems Technology group. The focus of the groups work is on integration of various biosensor principles and assays into smart microfluidic systems.
