Dr. Zhijian(George) Lu has been serving semiconductor industry for over 23 years as an IC device maker and an electronic material supplier. He is currently the regional business director of DowDuPont Lithography Business Unit. Since May, 2007 George has been working for Dow Chemical Company in various roles, including senior marketing manager, marketing director, strategy & BD director, and the regional business director.
Prior to Dow Chemical, George had worked for Texas Instruments as a Member of Technical Staff at Dallas, Texas from 2002 to 2007, developing 65/32nm logic technologies. From 1996 to 2002 he worked for Siemens Microelectronics at Hopewell Junction, NY, developing one gigabit DRAM technologies as a Lithography R&D manager. George has more than 15 US patents about semiconductor processing.
George earned a B.S. degree and a M.S. degree from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA. He got a MBA degree from Babson College at Wellesley, MA in 2012.
