Tim Bao is currently Director of Applied Technology Asia in Air Products, leading a team of scientists to development applications of industrial gases and enabling technologies for a variety of segments in Asian regions,including frontend semiconductor manufacturing and backend packaging and assembly. Previously, Tim has worked in DCG Systems, BTU, Veeco, and Motorola on process development for semiconductor/photovoltaic manufacturing, and applications development for capital equipment/instrumentation for these industries. Tim holds a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering and M.S. in statistics, both from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, and B.S. in chemical engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing. His publications include 2 US patent filings and over 35 technical papers in international journals, proceedings, and books. Tim serves in technical committees for 2009-2015 CSTIC conferences. |
