Xiaoping Shi currently serves as CTO in Beijing NAURA Microelectronics. Before joining NAURA, he worked in imec for 15 years. During his stay in imec, his focus was mainly on the field of CMOS down-scaling, covering multiple CMOS technical nodes from 130nm down to 10nm. Prior to joining imec, he worked for BLL Microelectronics in US and the Netherlands for 8 years, and the Semiconductor Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing for 2 years.
Xiaoping Shi is an expert on semiconductor thin film technology, with more than 30-year experiences. His R&D topics involve different thin film deposition techniques including oxidation, CVD, and ALD etc. He has published more than 70 academic papers in various international journals and conferences, and been invited to give presentations at many international conferences. Currently he also serves as a committee member in a few international conferences.
