Tung-Yang Chen received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Institute of Electronics, National Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1997, and 2002, respectively. Dr. Chen is currently the President of AIP Technology Corporation. Dr. Chen is elected as the President of Taiwan ESD Association in 2017. His current research topics include ESD AI Design Software System, IC ESD/LU Turn-on Models, SI/PI/EMI co-design on PCB-Package-IC. From 2010 to 2018, Dr. Chen was the Assistant VP in charge of the R&D Center, Amazing Microelectronic Corp. (AMC), Taiwan. He consulted more than 20 IC design companies to plan ESD designs and address all ESD issues on IC products from IC design companies and package-testing companies. From 2003 to 2010, Dr. Chen joined Himax Technologies, Inc., and established the ESD and EMI Teams. He also helped LCD panel customers to improve the System ESD performance and EMI immunity of panel products and the LCM yield caused by environmental ESD events. From 2000 to 2003, Dr. Chen worked at United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC) to build ESD Technologies and Design Rules for 90nm, 65nm, SOI, SiGe, and other processes. In 1997, Dr. Chen worked at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Limited (TSMC) to develop the 0.18um/0.25um cell libraries. |
