Huiming Bu Director, Advanced Logic & Memory Technology Research at IBM Albany. Dr. Bu started his career at IBM on High-κ/Metal-Gate development. He led FinFET technology research for IBM and Joint Development Alliance (JDA) partners through 14nm to 7nm nodes. Currently he is responsible for advanced logic and emerging memory technology research for IBM Systems and A.I. Hardware. Dr. Bu received B.S. in Physics and M.S. in Microelectronics from Nanjing University, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Yale University. He currently holds more than 70 patents and has authored/co-authored more than 80 publications.
