Dr. Ganming Zhao is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the China Business Group at BEST, responsible for managing the overall China operations and driving the Company's growth strategy within the China market.
Dr. Zhao has an extensive career that spans 30 years in the semiconductor sector, including leadership positions across operations, technology, strategy, sales and customer support. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Zhao was Vice President, China Account General Manager and China Chief Technology Officer at Applied Materials (AMAT). Dr. Zhao also served in various leadership roles at LAM Research (LRCX) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
Dr. Zhao received his B.Sc. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering at Fudan University, China and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri. Dr. Zhao has been granted numerous U.S. patents on plasma etch processes and process integration and has published extensively in technical publications.
