Dr. KK Kuo 郭桂冠博士

Dr. KK Kuo is currently Vice President of R&D center at ASE Jiangsu, focusing on the development and research of cutting-edge technologies and technology transformation. Dr. Kuo has more than 20 years of research and manufacturing experience in the field of IC packaging, including SiP, module assembly, MEMS & Sensor etc., for the application of Smart Automotive, IoT and Smart Phone.

Dr. Kuo developed and produced 4G/5G key RF modules and EMI modules of international leading mobile phone brand with his abundant engineering experience. Also, He took the lead in importing GaN Massive MIMO high power and high heat dissipation base station power amplifier module, and successfully imported 5G small cell RF PA products, achieving the localization process of 5G base station packaging products. Prior to joining ASE, Dr. Kuo worked at Philips, NXP and ST-Ericsson.

Dr. Kuo has a Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University. He holds over 70 patents and has published many academic papers. He is a member of IEEE (IEEE Electronics Packaging Society Membership) and was selected as Jiangsu Science and Technology Entrepreneur in 2018.
