Dr. Ni received his bachelor degree from Zhejiang University in Industrial Automation in 2001, and his doctoral degree from University of California, Los Angeles in Chemical Engineering in 2005. He is now a professor in Zhejiang University with research focus on artificial intelligence and its application in smart manufacturing. Before returning to academia, he served multiple technology development roles in Intel Corporation across yield and process integration engineering. Dr. Ni has published many papers in renowned journals and top conferences and held multiple patents. He was a first author recipient of O. Hugo Schuck Best Paper Award from American Automatic Control Council.
