Leopold Beer GM of Sensing Division within Renesas Electronics Corporation 瑞萨电子传感器事业部负责人 |
讲师简介 / Speaker Bio Leopold Beer graduated from the University of Stuttgart with a diploma in Physics. He specialized in semiconductor physics. Leopold started his career as engineer in the DRAM Plant of Siemens Semiconductors (Today Infineon Technologies) in Regensburg and since then held various functions in the automotive and semiconductor Industry. Leopold joined Bosch Sensortec in 2006 as Director of Sales and later was assigned to Head of Global Marketing and Product Management. From 2013 to 2018 Leopold held the position of Regional President APAC based in Shanghai/China. From August 2018 till January 2023 Leopold headed ASIC & SOC product portfolio management within Bosch Automotive Electronics. In February 2023 Leopold joined Renesas Electronics Corporation where he holds the role of Head of Sensor Division. 摘要 / Abstract Although the fundamental function of sensors did not change in time, the context of sensing evolved significantly. With the upcoming automatization and robotization of every day’s life, the way sensor functionality is implemented will change drastically. New requirements arise for functionality, integration, and signal/data processing. Obviously, key enablers for these new requirements are specific semiconductor technologies. In my presentation I will shortly touch on the evolution of sensor use cases across different industries, their communalities, and differences leading to today’s technical solutions. Based on the robotization assumption, I will shortly outline a potential technological future for the sensor business. |
