Prof. Shi-Jun Liang is currently an Associate Professor in School of Physics at Nanjing University. He received his Ph.D Degree in semiconductor physics from Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2017. From 2017 to 2021, he worked at Nanjing University as research associate. His research mainly focuses on 2D materials, emerging devices, in-sensor computing, in-memory computing, neuromorphic computing and intelligent matter. He has published more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, including Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Electronics, Physical Review Letters, Science Advances, Nature Communications, IEDM, etc. He has received several awards including Shoulders-Gray-Spindt (SGS) Award (2015), University Best Dissertation Awards (2018), the IEEE Outstanding Postgraduate Fellowship Award (2016), Tektronix Graduate Research Competition Award (2017), IAAM Scientist award (2022).
