Dr. Weihai Bu is the Vice General Manager of STIC TD and Chairman of the STIC Patent Technology Committee. He received his bachelor's degree and Ph.D from Peking University in 2000 and 2005, respectively. He was selected as a "Young Beijing Scholar" and "Yi Qilin" Outstanding Talent. He was responsible for technology pathfinding research in a leading domestic IC manufacturer and led the industry-university-research cooperation for more than 10 years. His main RD direction is logic devices and processes. He served as the Chairman of the Yield and Manufacturing Committee at IEEE EDTM 2021. He has co-authored 3 books, published more than 40 papers, and has more than 50 authorized invention patents.
