讲师简介 / Speaker Bio Dr. Shunfeng Li received his bachelor, master in Peking University and Institute of Semiconductor in 1997 and 2001. respectively. In 2005, he got doctor degree in Uni. Paderborn, Germany in the field of optoelectronic semiconductor. The he work as a postdoc and research scientist in KIT(Karlsruhe) and TU-Braunschweig, Germany. In 2012, he was back in China and worked as vice director of Dongguan institute of optoelectronics, Peking University. Later, he was appointed for several senior research/management positions in compound semiconductor industry. Currently he is the executive director of Suzhou Everbright Institute of Semiconductor Lasers. Dr Li authored and co-authored more than 60 journal papers and he holds 24 patents. He is also members of several academic committees in compound and wide-gap semiconductors 摘要 / Abstract Semiconductor lasers are the pivotal devices for laser industry, which are widely employed in versatile applications. High power edge emitting laser diodes are often used as the pump source for fiber/solid lasers, which are the key components of laser system. Besides that, semiconductor lasers facilitate the progress in many applications e.g. data transmission, sensing, Lidar and so on. Everbright is a leading company in semiconductor lasers, focusing on the design and fabrication of edge and surface emitting diode lasers. Here we report our recent progress achieved in edge and surface emitting lasers. Furthermore, we will present our recent results on other new type of lasers, e.g. photonic crystal surface emitting lasers. |
