个人简介 Masakatsu Hoshi received his M.S. degree in Energy Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology, in 1987. He joined TOSHIBA Corp. from 1987 to 1989. In 1989, he joined Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. He was a visiting scholar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1996 to 1997 to research SiC devices. Now he is Senior Engineer at Research Planning Department and Senior Research Engineer at EV System Laboratory. He has experience for developing advanced power semiconductor devices for automotive applications. He has also experience for developing power electronics systems, such as an Inverter and a Charger. 摘要 An EV (Electric Vehicle) will be one of core technologies in the next generation. The EV is an effective way of meeting future demand for environmental Improvements, also providing driving pleasure. Further progress is expected for power electronics systems of the EV in terms of reducing their size, lowering their cost and increasing their efficiency. To attain these aims, WBG (Wide BandGap) power devices are promising next-generation candidates. In this talk, overview of EV development and expectation for WBG power devices will be presented. |
