Frank Feng is a director of ESD/Reliability design solutions engineering in EDAG, Signoff & Silicon Innovations group of Synopsys, responsible for product development and customer engagement of ESD/Reliability design verification methodology in ICV PERC product, and actively driving ESD EDA technology collaboration with foundry and partners of ESD ecosystem. He earned his B.S. in Physics from National Cheng Kung University in 1986 and Ph.D. in Physics from University of Houston, Texas in 1995. Frank devoted in studying and manufacturing superconductor and semiconductor materials before settling his career in EDA in 2001. Frank started his EDA career in Avanti, later acquired by Synopsys. He mastered skill of Place & Route for physical implementation and supported multiple projects of advanced technology chip design in 90/65 nm during 2001 ~ 2005. Frank worked in Mentor Graphics from 2005 to 2019, in charge of driving Calibre DFM/PERC product development & engagement with design house/IDM/foundry worldwide on advanced nodes. He rejoins Synopsys in 2020. |
