Dr. PR (Chidi) Chidambaram

Chidi Chidambaram has more than 20 years’ experience in semiconductor technology, at Qualcomm. Chidi led the 28, 20, 14 nm technologies before being named the Vice President in charge of the Process Technology team. In his current position, he is responsible for Si and GaAs technology definition, ramp and production at all of Qualcomm’s foundry partners. Prior to Qualcomm, Chidi developed logic silicon technologies at Texas Instruments. He earned his PhD in Material Science from Colorado School of Mines, is the author of more than 50 refereed journal publications, and holds more than 50 patents.
