Biography Dr. Dechao Guo is currently Senior Research Manager in Semiconductor Technology Research at IBM, where he is responsible for the front-end-of-line (FEOL) technology definition, device design, process integration and reliability for advanced logic technology, towards high-performance and low-power applications for IBM and its semiconductor joint development alliance partners. Dr. Guo has been honored as IBM Master Inventor for his innovation contribution to IBM’s IP portfolio in CMOS technologies, device architecture, semiconductor processing, as well as Design and Technology Co-Optimization. For his contributions from high-k metal gate technology, to FINFET technology, and to SiGe FIN technology, Dr. Guo has been honored 5 IBM Outstanding Technology Achievement Awards as individual contributor or team lead. Dr. Guo has published more than 40 papers at international conferences and in technical journals. He holds over 140 patents in the field of semiconductor technology. Dechao Guo received his bachelor's degree in microelectronics from Peking University and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Yale University. |
