He focuses on the semiconductor market in mobile applications, the electronics supply chain in China – especially smartphones, and emerging consumer IoT endpoints – and the growth prospection of government funding Chinese semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Sheng managed the business of Samsung mobile application processors for the smartphone, tablet and other mobile application market from 2008, when he worked in the Korean headquarters strategic marketing group.
