Dr. Zhijian(George) Lu 吕志坚

Dr. George Lv joined the IBM DRAM Development Alliance in 1996, developing 258Mbit and 1Gbit DRAM chips as a Lithography Development Engineer, and became the Lithography Department Manager in 1999. From 2002 to 2007 George worked for Texas Instruments developing 65nm-32nm logic chips as a Technology Leader. Since 2007 George has been working for Rohm-Haas Electronic Materials, Dow Chemical and DuPont as Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, Strategy and NBD Director, and Regional Commercial Business Director. Currently Dr. Lu is the General Manger in charge of China Lithography Business of DuPont Semiconductor Technologies.

George has 25+ years’ experience in semiconductor industry as a business leader and strategist in electronic materials, and a R&D leader at memory and logic device makers. He is a world-known technologist with deep insights on semiconductor markets, electronic materials, and semiconductor processing technologies.

George earned his Ph.D. and M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University. He received a MBA degree in General Manager from Babson University in 2012.
