Prof. Jinchi Han

Assistant Professor and Boya Young Scholar,
Peking University

Jinchi Han is an assistant professor and Boya Young Scholar in School of Integrated Circuits in Peking University. He received his B.Eng degree and MSE degree from Tsinghua University in 2013 and 2015, respectively, both in electrical engineering. He received his MS degree and PhD degree from MIT in 2018 and 2021, respectively, both in electrical engineering and computer science. Prior to joining Peking University, he was a postdoctoral associate in Research Laboratory of Electronics at MIT from 2021 to 2023. His researches focus on new paradigms of active micro-/nano-structures for application in sensing, actuation, computing, and energy harvesting, aiming to reduce the energy consumption of microsystems and promote their applications in the internet of things. He has led/participated in multiple projects funded by National Science Foundation of China, National Science Foundation (US), and MIT-Enterprise Alliance program. He has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles, and co-invented over 20 Chinese and international patents. He is a TAP member of Sensors and a guest editor of Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering.
