Recently, GaAs VECSEL applications to consumer market and automotive LiDar have received a lot of attention. High band-gap compound semiconductor demonstrated a high potential in power management and mm-Wave RF applications. These spur a new wave of compound semiconductor in the beyond Moor’s law semiconductor industry. In this talk, a technical overview of compound semiconductor technologies and status reports will be given to address their uniqueness in these applications. |
