Biography

Mr. Lincoln Lee joined Mentor in 1988 as Regional Application Engineer based in Mentor Hong Kong office covering PacRim region. He was one of the first AEs supporting Mentor's sales activities in China. Mr. Lee transferred to Mentor Canada in 1991 and since then contributed in various roles, including Product Specialist, Business Development Manager, and Strategic Account Technical Manager. In his most recent position, Lincoln led a cross-regional team of AEs servicing a global major customer, covering a broad range of technologies from system level design to production yield ramping. He relocated to Shanghai in 2018 as the PacRim Technical Director. Lincoln has B. Eng. degree from McMaster University, Ontario in Computer Engineering, and MBA degree from Queen's University, Ontario.

Abstract

The semiconductor companies are courting automotive electronics as the next growth market.  For the many products targeting Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Vehicles, the challenges shift from functionality to safety.  Meeting standards such as ISO-21445 and ISO-26262 for these complex digital systems is a wider chasm than people have thought. The presentation outlines the hurdles and solutions to deliver safe and reliable product without being late to market.
