Biography Aileen O' Mahony, Ph.D., is a Product Manager at Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology. Dr. O' Mahony worked in the US and held the position of R&D Scientist responsible for the commercialization of licensed Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes as part of a multi-institute Department of Energy funded program with collaborators at Incom Inc., Argonne National Laboratory, The University of Chicago, and University of California, Berkeley. Prior to this, she worked as an Applications Scientist at an ALD equipment manufacturer Ultratech/Cambridge NanoTech in an integral, cross-functional role working with both the scientific and sales teams. Dr. O' Mahony has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University College Cork focused on ALD for microelectronics applications. She has several years of hands-on R&D experience in process development and optimization in various commercial settings with a keen focus on developing industry-driven deposition processes for the commercialization of thin film-functionalized products. She is the author/co-author of 20+ publications, and has presented at numerous international conferences. |
