Director, Supplier Technology and Industry Development, Global Supply Management, Intel Corporation Dr. Steve Johnston is Intel's Director of Supplier Technology and Industry Development where he is responsible for managing Intel's research and pathfinding equipment/materials/component supply chain programs, worldwide consortia engagements, and Intel's Technology and Manufacturing Group's strategic research and PR communication initiatives. As part of this, Dr. Johnston oversees Intel's technology and manufacturing supply chain IP and collaboration processes and executive alignment of Intel's silicon technology roadmap with memory and foundry manufacturers. Additionally, Dr. Johnston is responsible for connecting Intel's technology and manufacturing supply chain roadmap programs to global Semiconductor Industry Association, SEMI and global public policy initiatives. Dr. Johnston is a founding member of the SIA/SRC Semiconductor Research Vision initiative and is a member of IMEC's executive advisory council, SIA's CTO committee, and the SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium and Electron Devices Technology and Manufacturing conference committees. He has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, currently holds 15 patents and has authored >50 publications/presentations. |
