Tighe Spurlin graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2007 with a PhD in analytical chemistry. He then spent 3 years as a post-doc at the National Institutes of Standards and Technology before joining Lam Research in 2010. He is currently the process manager at Lam Research responsible for cobalt electroplating in the Sabre development group. He has authored or co-authored 17 publications and has 7 issued patents.
